PDF - Conversion in BOSS Linux

Well ,today while I was browsing, found 2 excellent utilities in debian linux

1. Convert Image(s) to PDF
2. Convert PDF to Image(Google Docs!!)

How to  Convert Image to PDF ??

• ImageMagick
  Type the follow line to  terminal to install ImageMagick:
  sudo apt-get install imagemagick

• Go to the work directory (directory of jpegs):
  cd work/directory/path
• Convert the JPG files to PDF:
  convert *.jpg foo.pdf
• for example , if you have jpeg images in /home/krish, the script is ,

     cd  /home/krish
     convert *.jpeg out.pdf

At last you will get all the images converted   to a single pdf file( out.pdf )

Yup!!!!

How to Convert PDF to Image ?

convert input_file.pdf  output_name.png


I hope that, this convert utility comes by default in Debian Linux..
