How to Mount a Drive?

To mount a drive, we need to know the device ID.
Next the folder to which we are going to mount.

To find the device ID:

use "dmesg | tail "

Now ,

mount  <deviceid> <Folder>

for example if the device ID is sda1
and we wish to mount in /media/USB folder, then use
as
mount  /dev/sda1      /media/USB

This will mount the drive @ the specified folder.
